Anadolu Hisari

This small fortress which is located at the narrowest part of Boshorus was constructed by Sultan Bayezit in 1339 over the ruin of pagan temple dedicated to Jupiter just before the first Ottoman siege of Constantinople. Upon hearing news of Crusaders arrival, Ottomans lifted the siege and returned home. Bayezit's grandson, Mehmet the conqueror did some alterations at Anadolu Hisari pret construction of the coastal road it for his great attack to Contantinople.

Hekimbasi Salih Efendi Yalisi

This sea side mansion which was owned by the Saih Efensi, the chief phycian of both Abdulmecid and Abdulhamid is one of the most attractive yali of Bosphorus. It is beautifully safeguarded by the grandsons of Salih Efendi.

 

Amcazade Yalisi

This partly ruined Bophorus Mantion was built by Grand Vizier Huseyin Pasa, a member of famous Koprulu family. It is the oldest Bosphorus mansion survived up to our day.

Kanlica

Kanlica has been famous for its delicious yougurt which is served at many restaurants around the pier. The mosque located at the square was built by archtect Sinan for the Iskender Pasa, the grand vizier of Suleyman the Magnificent.

Pasabahce

Pasabahce-Pasa's Garden so called because of the palace and residence of Hazerpara Ahmet pasa who was the Grand Visier of sultan MuradI IV. The town is renowned because of the Glass and Glass Works Factory where the finest glassware is produced in Turkey.

Beykoz

Beykoz is the largest fishing vilige on the Asian side of Upper Bosphorus. The town is popular with the visitors who enjoy its ffine sea food restaurants and cafe houses.

Anadolu Kavagi

Anadolu kavagi or the Poplar of Asia is a charming village with fine fish restaurants on the xhore. there is also the ruins of very impressive fortress built during the Byzantine era and taken over by the Genoese in the 14th century. the fortress covers an area as twice as the size of Rumelihisar.

Yusa Tepesi

The hill which culminates the height of 660 meters and lacated above the town of Anadolu Kavagi is known as Yusa Tepesi ot "Joshua Hill". There is a tomb of a Muslim Saint called Yusa at the summit of the hill. Known as Giants Tomb or Hercules tomb, this impressive tomb attracts great number of Muslim faithful who come there to visit the tomb of the holly man.
