THE CIRAGAN PALACE

The site of Ciragan palace drew attention of members of Royal family as early as 17th century when this location became the part of Imperial Gardens. Various palaces belonging Ottoman family members followed each other on the site. The most notable palace among these former palaces was constructed. Located on European side of Boshorus, Ciragan Palace was built by Sultan Abdulaziz.

Yildiz Park

A short distance beyond the Ciragan Palace, there is entrance of Yildiz Park which was the former Imperial Gardens of Ciragan and Yildiz Palaces. On the right side of the entry, there is a mosque built by Sultan Abdulmecit in 1848.
