The museum gives the cronogical history of fire fighting in Istanbul starting from beginning. visitors enjoy the water pumbs of tulumbasi, the pioneers of the firemen in Turkey. Tools and clothes used by the firemen through the centuries are beautifully displayed in the museum. The museum in its restored building was re opened in 1992.
