Holly Relics

Three rooms where the holly relics of Mohammed are located are considered one of the most important shrines for the Muslim faith. some of the objects visitors can see there;

The footprints of Mohammed; a letter dictated by Mohammed; the soil from his grave, his tooth, broken during the Hayber war; hairs, trimmed from his beard; his beard; the casket of the Esved stone which is believed to have come from the heaven and today kept in the walls of the Holly Kaabe.

In a special room, the most sacred three objects are displayed:

The Holy Standard of Mohammed which is kept in a green box was used when Ottoman Empire declared Holly War against the Infidel. Holly flag was personally carried by the Sultan to the Gate of Felicity and given to Standart Bearer.

Kept in a golden box, The Mohammed's mantle in the second important Relic in this room. Enjoying his poems, Mohammed gave his mantle to poet to an Arabic poet whose successors kept the mantle with the greatest respect.visitors can also enjoy the bow and sword of Mohammed.

Ottoman Sultans, great fighters of Muslim faith, got the title of being calife after the conquest of Egypt. During his long campaign, Sultan Selim captured most of the Arabic lands and Egypt where he put an end with Memluk dynasty whose members had Califate.
