Book Market or Sahaflar Carsisi

Located between Grand bazaar and Bayezit Mosque, the book market is a fascinating place for book collectors and for ordinary population. In addition to old hand written books, one can find books on any object and in any language. In the middle of the book market, one can see the statue of Ibrahim  Muteferrika who printed first books in Turkey in 1732.
