Mosaic of Constantine and Justinian

The most famous mosaic in Contantinople is certainly the one located on the side entry of the church. It shows two most famous Byzantine Emperors: Constantine the Great, who moved the capital of Roman Empire from Rome to Byzantium, and Emperor Justinian who built third church of Saint Sophia in 6th century. On the right side of the mosaic Emperor Contantine offers his new city to Mary and Christ while Justinian the Great offers his church.
