Ephesus Museum

One of the finest local museums in Turkey is situated in Seljuk. Here are housed the works of art brought to light among the ruins of Ephesus and its environs. The most important works displayed there are the following: the Mycenaean vases found on the hill at Ayasoluk, fragments from the Artemision, the altar of the temple of Domitian, two statues of Artemis Ephesia, a Theodosian relief from the temple of Hadrian and extremely valuable full-length portraits and busts of the Roman period.
