The  meydanci and the guardian of the mausoleum stayed behind for tidying up  the sheepskin and putting  out  the candles. The dervishes  who desired  to continue  sema, they waited until these last two figures left. Then, they whirled   18 times  in the darkness. If one of the visitors wished to make a  donation to the dergah, he might ask for the continuation of the  sema. This  request had to be done  before the end of the fourth  part,  and money had to be deposited on the  kudum of  the  kudumzen-basi (chief of the kudum players). Dervishes distrubuted  this sum afterwards among themselves or spent for the needs of the convent.
One should  also mention that  previously the semazens whirled  bare foot while the sheyh  and the semazenbasi wore supple  ankle-boots called mes that all the semazens put on during  the sema in later periods.  While the dervishes did rotational movements, the  tennure rose up and  revealed  long  underwear underneath, therefore, the underwear had to be  clean  and well  kept, like  the tennure and the hirka. Children and youngsters might put on tennures in rose, green, orange, beige or violet colors.
If there were more than  one sheyh in the sema hall, they  assisted the fourth part together with the sheyh of the convent and formed a circle around him. If there was only one invited sheyh, he whirled near the sheyh of the convent.
