State Agora

The State Agora took its last shape during the time of Emperor Augustus and was a semi sacred area where political and religious meeting were held.

Town Hall

This was the town hall of the autonomous city of Ephesus, with the accompanying temple of Hestia Boulaia, where burned the perpetual fire that was never permitted to go out.

Bouleterion

The building resembling a theater is known as the Odeon. However, considering that the Town Hall is situated close by and the state agora is just in front of it, we may be right to assume that it functioned as the meeting place for the city consul
