Turkey is the largest producer of hazel nuts, apricots, figs, and dried raisins, eggplant second largest producer of pistachios, chickpeas, lentils, and peppers.

Turkey produces 75 % of the world hazelnuts. Spain, Italy, and USA grow the rest.

35% of the world fig production comes from Turkey.

There are 9 million fig trees in Turkey. 20% of the world apricot production comes from Turkey.

There are 10 million apricot trees in Turkey. 30% of the world pistachio production comes from Turkey, which is the second important country in pistachio production after Iran.

For wine yards, Turkey is the fifth largest country with 800.000 hectares after Italy, France, Former Russia, Spain, and USA.

35% of the world raisin production comes from Turkey. Turkey is the fifth larger producer of Olives after Spain, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.

For citrus fruits, Turkey is the 11th largest producer and gives the 3% of the world output. Turkey is sixth largest producer of the tobacco after USA, China, India, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan. Agricultural products and regions
